Description
High-quality matte acrylic paint, water-based and specially formulated for airbrush use. This NATO Black tone is not a pure deep black, but a very dark, slightly greyish black, based on FS 37030 and RAL 9021.

This gives a more realistic scale effect in camouflage schemes. The fine pigmentation ensures smooth, even coverage without obscuring detail. Ready to use, it dries quickly and forms a durable matte paint film.

Application
Perfect for modern NATO camouflage on vehicles and equipment. Ideal when combined with NATO Green and NATO Brown for authentic three-tone schemes. Also excellent for shading, panel lines, and weathering effects without the harsh contrast of pure black. Can be applied with an airbrush and is also suitable for brush application.

Can be diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver if needed. Recommended pressure: 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 bar).
