Description
High-quality matte acrylic paint, water-based and specially formulated for airbrush use. This US Desert Sand tone is a warm sand color with a slightly reddish undertone, based on FS 30279 and ANA 616.

It has a deeper and slightly more saturated appearance than standard sand tones and is characteristic of U.S. desert camouflage. The fine pigmentation ensures smooth, even coverage without obscuring detail. Ready to use, it dries quickly and forms a durable matte paint film.

Application
Perfect for desert camouflage on U.S. vehicles and aircraft. Ideal for scale models, dioramas, and both modern and historical projects. Can be combined with lighter sand tones and brown or green shades for realistic camouflage schemes. Also suitable for dust and weathering effects. Can be applied with an airbrush and is also suitable for brush application.

Can be diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver if needed. Recommended pressure: 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 bar).
