The long-awaited F-4G Wild Weasel V has arrived! A specialized SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defense) variant of the Phantom II, the F-4G was designed to detect and destroy enemy radar installations using the AN/APR-38 system and anti-radiation missiles like the AGM-45, AGM-78, and AGM-88.
This kit represents serial number 69-7268 from the 81st Tactical Fighter Squadron, based at Spangdahlem Air Base, West Germany, July 1987. It features the striking “European One” three-tone camouflage and the iconic “Black Panther” squadron mascot.
