The Mazda RX-7 253 is one of Japan's most iconic racing cars to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed for the IMSA GTO class, it featured an advanced aerodynamic body and Mazda's legendary 13B rotary engine. During the 1981 Le Mans 24 Hours, it showcased the performance potential of rotary-engine technology on the world's biggest endurance racing stage.
